How Can I Help?

Artist George S. donates a painting to SaveABunny Founder, Marcy Schaaf

We welcome reliable and compassionate volunteers who are at least 12 years old. We believe that whatever people love to do, they can do to help animals in need.
Volunteering should be fun and meaningful.

We also provide a safe and structured setting for youth and teens to demonstrate responsible, compassionate care for animals and give back to the community.

We encourage a fun and supportive environment in which volunteers can apply their personal interests and skills to help rabbits.

Volunteer opportunities accommodate a wide range of interests and skills including, but not limited to, on-site rabbit care and facility maintenance, artistic or graphic design, computer and technical assistance, public outreach, transportation of rabbits and supplies and grant-writing or fundraising. In-kind donations from individuals and businesses are also greatly appreciated to further our rescue work.

Donations can be made via PayPal from our website. Checks can be mailed to P.O. Box 2143, Mill Valley, CA 94942. Whatever an individual or organization’s interests or financial position may be, there are unique and meaningful ways to help save a bunny!
