I just got adoted as a friend for Mouse, also from SaveABunny.
Hi. My name is Cotton. I am a very soft and pretty, spayed little Holland lop girl. I was surrendered to the San Francisco shelter by someone who decided they didn't have time for me anymore. I am sweet, quiet and ask only for kindness and someone who will love me forever.
I was likely an Easter bunny purchase. As cute as I am, I was at risk of being euthanized because of overcrowding at the shelter.
Please don't blame the shelter---it's not their fault. If pet stores would stop selling rabbits and people would adopt a rescued rabbit or rabbit at a shelter, rather than buying them, so many lives would be saved.
Plus, people would save money on spays and neuters, which leaves them more money for toys and treats for their bunnies and themselves.
Let my story be an example for you to do the right thing and adopt, don't buy. I have a lot of love to share and perhaps you can provide my special, forever home.
Please meet me soon!
