Buttons is a young, athletic, neutered boy who was part of a large group of rabbits that were dropped off San Francisco Animal Care and Control by people who had bought "two girl bunnies" who then "miraculously" had two large litters of bunnies.

The large influx of bunnies has pushed the shelter to beyond capacity and has now seriously strained rescue resources.

Buttons is a handsome and friendly bunny who is eager to find a place to call home and someone to love him.

If you'd like to meet Buttons, please bring his ID number with you to San Francisco Animal Care and Control. Hours of operation are 12-6 pm. Open 12-7 pm on Wednesday. You will need landlord approval if you rent.
